Kay spotted these vultures and went over to investigate. There was a kill site, but whatever had made the kill ran off (we probably scared it away). The vultures wait a while before they will land by a kill to be sure it is safe. We saw lappet-faced vultures, white-backed vultures, cape vultures and hooded vultures all at this site.

In the late afternoon we took a boat ride instead of a safari drive. The waters are full of life. You can see fish, birds and bugs everywhere.

It was very peaceful when Kay cut the engine and we just floated on the current.

Right, Kay explains where the water flows and points out plants and birds.

Papyrus and reeds make up most of the plant life.
